Case Story Bonnie Support Service

Using stories in a digital strategy.

When an organisation is doing really special work and gathering the story proof of their impact, it’s not hard to share those stories with the world. Bonnie’s new digital strategy boosts the impact of their stories from both their blog and their regular story_Pool sessions.

As a vibrant feminist service, our focus was to build awareness of this very special service and increase the impact and range of their advocacy through building greater connections and partnerships.

We worked with Impact Producer Jackie Turnure to devise a strategy for a new Instagram channel and boost engagement on Bonnie’s website and Facebook page.

To populate the Instagram and improve the Facebook, we tapped into Bonnie’s expertise in areas of feminism, gender equality and domestic violence to design creative content – and reflect Bonnie’s unique brand story. We created two beautiful story-based campaigns for both Instagram and Facebook to position Bonnie’s in her rightful place as a leading voice.  And a vibrant feminist organisation.

Happiness Is

This series celebrates the small but life-changing moments all women can have when they feel safe and free from domestic violence. The series of drawings by @tennyson.sidney.nobel were based on heard moments with clients and others. Happiness is… was originally conceived as a series of 10 original drawings but we soon found neither Tennyson or us could stop! We encouraged the audience to contribute their own  #HappinessIs moment to spark curiosity and awareness of the simple freedoms we often take for granted.

We are Bonnie’s

This series of story cards is based on some beautiful, moving staff stories and reflections shared during story_Pool. They show the staff’s admiration for the bravery and strength of the women who visit Bonnie’s. The mini episodes, with original hand painted illustrations, form a highly shareable gallery on Bonnie’s Facebook and Instagram.
